In Autumn 2007, a class of UW Landscape Architecture Students, led by professor Jeff Hou, created preliminary conceptual designs for the International Children’s Park renovation.

This class collaborated with the International District Housing Alliance Wilderness Inner-city Leadership Development (IDHA WILD) youth program and the City of Seattle. The class consisted of charettes with inter-generational groups of the local community and presented multiple designs in the format of a report, found in their course website.
